How to Save A Truckload of Time for Worship Leaders with one of Planning Center Online’s newest feature

Um, WOW. If you are a worship leader (or work with one), you need to know how Planning Center Online just saved us a truckload of time every week. They just added a feature for a “1-Click Import of Lyrics and Chords.” Here’s how PCO says it works…
If you have a SongSelect membership, you will now be able to import Lyrics and Chord Charts directly from CCLI without having to download it from SongSelect and then upload it to Planning Center. It’s now a 1-click integrated process that will save lots of time!
After the integration is enabled, your Editors & Admins will have 3 ways to get lyrics & chords from CCLI.
- When you create a new song, there will be ch
eckboxes asking if you’d like to import the lyrics or chord chart in any key.- After you’ve created a song, you can import the Lyrics from our Lyrics & Chords box, which Planning Center will then turn into a Lyrics PDF
- You can also import the chord chart in any key from the “Add an Attachment” box on any song arrangement page in the new SongSelect tab
Not sure if you know how much time this saves us — but it’s a HUGE feature. If you have a chance, write the good folks at planningcenteronline.com an email telling them you appreciate the role they are playing in the modern church. If it weren’t for them — we’d be bald by now.

Here are a few things that I enjoy using, usually help me be more effective, and make life a little more easy for what I do.

, which are nice for smaller setups. They give a nice flat response and are great for hearing the full spectrum. I recommend using some IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155 - Medium
to set the monitors on. They will "float" the monitors where you need them and minimize desk contact.

which fits in your mobile bag and is super light. I've laid down a few tracks at McD's with this USB powered keyboard and it works great for this kind of work.
