A Worship Conference for Leading in Small Sized Churches

Worship leading in a smaller-sized church is a whole different ballgame than medium or large-sized churches. Budget is different. Personnel is different. Space is different. Feel is different.
But the goal is the same — to give worth to the One we are following, God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
So if you are in a smaller-sized church and looking for a worship conference that’s going to be tailored to you, then here it is. Worship In the Sticks is happening in Northern Indiana on April 16, 2011. Check it out.
Worship Conference – In the Sticks…
VERY EXCITED about a new training opportunity that we’re launching called “Worship in the Sticks”. It is a worship conference designed with smaller churches in mind. I’ve had so many church leaders talk to me about the unique difficulties they face as they lead worship in smaller congregations.
BY BUILDING INTO TEAMS AND LEADERS, WE’RE LOOKING TO HELP:

If you are involved in leading worship (leader or team member), I think you’ll find this event to be helpful. It will be held on SATURDAY, APRIL 16TH at Union Center Church of the Brethren in Nappanee, IN.
Things I Use & Recommend
Here are a few things that I enjoy using, usually help me be more effective, and make life a little more easy for what I do.

which are both great. I personally use the AT2020 and carry it in my mobile bag.
has been great for me and the rest of the team. In fact, we all plug direct in now. The HD 500 comes with looping, which is a great practice and jam feature.
and they are great. There are also smaller ones of the same make called Yamaha HS50M 5" Monitors
, which are nice for smaller setups. They give a nice flat response and are great for hearing the full spectrum. I recommend using some IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155 - Medium
to set the monitors on. They will "float" the monitors where you need them and minimize desk contact.

or the Akai Pro LPK25 25-Key Ultra-Portable USB MIDI Keyboard Controller for Laptops
which fits in your mobile bag and is super light. I've laid down a few tracks at McD's with this USB powered keyboard and it works great for this kind of work. And if portability isn't what you are looking for and you'd like a nice home/office studio MIDI controller and want some hammer action feel, then go with the Akai Pro MPK88 Hammer Action USB Midi Controller
